Who Is a Hero?

His horse charged deep into the trap.
Heads fell beneath his blade.
He saved the honor of his people—
and ended with his own head
falling from his shoulders.
He—the Hero—
their ultimate guard.
He ran to his shop each morning,
closing deals with careful tactics.
Silencing loud mouths with calm authority,
thinking always of his family.
He—the Hero—
their ultimate doer.
